Vampire Diaries season 1 episode 1 synopsis: Elena Gilbert and her buddy Jeremy concern conditions with the death of their parents. Elena is pop among her peers and the perfect straight A scholar, but has difficulties covering her sorrow from the world. Meantime, Jeremy steps on a grievous path of using doses to simplicity his pain. The arrival of new pupil Stefan Salvatore, even so, makes Elena think of romantic possibilities.
