With Jessica in towage, Bill and Sookie maneuver to Dallas to accomplish Eric’s vampire-reconnaissance mission – but a surprisal waits them at the airport. At the Light of Day Institute, Jason falls victim to a practical prank, but has the last laugh once the Newlins anele him for a greater calling. Maryann gives Tara a birthday party at Sookie’s, pulling in much of Bon Temps to its bacchanal revel. Sam defers his leaving from town to go to the bash, linking with Daphne in the process. Having hardly escaped Fangtasia, Lafayette finds out himself reluctantly backed away into Eric’s area.
